To get a true sense of the spiritual state of Britain, the following note from the Amplified Bible, Page 318, Joseph Parker, quoted in Gray & Adams Commentary, condensed, may yet prove to be in the process of fulfilment and gives an accurate reflection of the present turmoil leading to the spiritual and financial demise of this once great nation.
“Where God is, the right Monarch is
Judges 21:25
In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.
This statement is made three times in the latter chapters.
All was well while Joshua and those who assisted him lived, then gradually came disorder.
“What is the meaning of this? …… There was no king [or counsellor] in Israel because in Israel there was no God.
The Lord is King. You cannot have a [true] king if you have not a God.
There was no nominal renunciation of God, no public and blatant atheism, no boastful impiety; THERE WAS A DEADLIER HERESY – namely, keeping God as a sign, but paying no tribute to Him as a King, worshipping Him possibly in outward form, but knowing nothing of the SUBDUING AND DIRECTING POWER OF GODLINESS.
That is more to be dreaded than any intellectual difficulty of a theological kind…… Dead consciences, prayerless prayers, mechanical formalities – these are the impediments that overturn ….. the chariots of progress.
This was the case in Israel. Where God is, the king is not [merely] a man with a crown on, but a king in the sense of kingliness, sovereignty, authority, rule – the spirit of obligation and responsibility…. Britain is on the verge of having her very foundations crumble, indeed, things will not remain the same as it is the intent and the purpose of God to overturn this nation and keep on overturning until this people submit in unconditional surrender and humbleness beneath the mighty hand of God.
This once well favoured super Nation has lost her true spiritual direction and flounders on the stage of the world and yet she continues to posture with the pretence that all is well and even though the economy is in the visible and invisible process of collapsing, she assumes she can rise up and rebuild successfully as in times past.
This is merely the beginning of the intolerable anguish which will grip this nation with a hand of iron from which she will be rendered powerless to escape. When God rises up to take judgment on a nation to single them out for destruction and hedges them in, who can oppose Him? There is no mortal man in this country that is capable of thwarting the design and intent of God, unless this people turn back to God with one accord, as aptly written by the prophet Isaiah in chapter 26:9 “My soul yearns for You [O Lord] in the night; yes, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly; for only when Your judgments are in the earth will the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness—uprightness and right standing with God.”
What then lies in store for this nation in the imminent future?
The floods of the past years will appear mild in comparison to those yet to come; earthquakes in diverse sectors will rock this nation; famine, drought, disease, new and mutated, will afflict their livestock; plagues, old and new will sweep across this nation; the canker worm, the palmer worm, and the locust will swarm to the utmost corners of this nation; civil unrest, riots, crime will flow over from the estates into the inner cities, random multiple murders, family murders and suicides, lawlessness and theft will increase more and more, acts of terrorism will increase and become prevalent. Doctors will despair of finding cures as the obvious eludes them, woe unto this people, to whom will they turn to for help?
The economy and financial markets will certainly crumble and B.P. is but the beginning of other great financial institutions failing, which by the way, are presently concealing their losses to avoid the inevitable as long as possible, as though, by some miracle, they may be able to avert the disaster which looms on the horizon. Suddenly, one after the other, the true state of affairs in the secretive financial markets will be brought to light, secret no more, but open to worldwide scrutiny.
Like a consuming fire, the commoners will rise up in resistance against the leadership of this nation, and indeed, the Monarchy itself will not come off unscathed.
The voice and rage of the people will be heard in actions with one accord, they will drive out the foreign nationals; indeed, these foreigners will attempt to flee in dread and fear from the persecution and cruelty which they will be subjected to without mercy.
However, all is not lost and from the seemingly hopeless situation stability will once again arise because of the remnant of true believers which God has reserved for Himself. When the wicked rule, the righteous hide themselves. The Amplified Bible aptly quotes from Proverbs 14:28, 34 “Uprightness and right standing with God [Moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation] these elevate a nation” and “In the multitude of people is the Kings glory, but in the lack of people is the princes ruin.”
During 2006 to 2008 I spent much time in intercessory prayer in Britain and my commission was to pray the last portion of Malachi for this nation which was so evidently obscured in darkness and loss of true spiritual direction, ‘turn the hearts of the unbelieving fathers to the children, and the heart of the rebellious children to the fathers’; furthermore, I was led by the Spirit to pray for the fulfilment of the promises and prayers of the greatest men which hereto the world has heard of, Spurgeon, Matthew Henry, Whitefield, George McDonald, Smith Wigglesworth etc… ‘And though they have died they are still speaking…..’ for there still remains the germ of their prayers echoing in heaven through the halls of time, and an unextinguished spark of the old fire remains in the people. From the ashes upon the altar the besieged Church will rise and this nation will once again build upon a foundation that will be unshakeable as they turn and keep on turning to God, until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored. – Sylvia Harris-Compton – 27th July 2010
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
See here, 1. The good conduct of a wise and good man; he manages himself well. It is not the wisdom of the learned, which consists only in speculation, that is here recommended, but the wisdom of the prudent, which is practical, and is of use to direct our counsels and actions. Christian prudence consists in a right understanding of our way; for we are travellers, whose concern it is, not to spy wonders, but to get forward towards their journey’s end. It is to understand our own way, not to be critics and busybodies in other men’s matters, but to look well to ourselves and ponder the path of our feet, to understand the directions of our way, that we may observe them, the dangers of our way, that we may avoid them, the difficulties of our way, that we may break through them, and the advantages of our way, that we may improve them–to understand the rules we are to walk by and the ends we are to walk towards, and walk accordingly.
2. The bad conduct of a bad man; he puts a cheat upon himself. He does not rightly understand his way; he thinks he does, and so misses his way, and goes on in his mistake: The folly of fools is deceit; it cheats them into their own ruin. The folly of him that built on the sand was deceit.
The silent war in South Africa continues unabated and little by little the bread basket of this nation is being diminished as the farmers are being targeted and murdered.
Families, black and white, face violent hi-jacking, home intrusion, rape and murder. This has become normality and is no longer of interest to the news media because of the frequency thereof.
Of all the nations of the world, only Israel and South Africa have made a blood covenant with God, and being of such a nature that the forefathers, who faced imminent death at the ‘Battle of Blood River’, made a Covenant with God wherein they vowed to serve Him if He would give them victory in said battle. Serve Him they did, and as the memory of time faded, so too did the promise of the forefathers become a distant memory as morals and godliness gradually eroded and the love of many waxed cold until eventually God was remembered and kept as a sign and served as a mere formality and not as the King of kings.
However, this Nation is faced with danger from the North, black and white are at threat and oblivious to the imminent danger looming on the horizon. From the North many strange people will invade this land and because of the vastness of the largely unprotected borders they will enter stealthily and remain undetected for a set time.
Plagues and diseases do not recognize borders and these are ushered in by man, the wind, water, air-borne and rivers. There will be unheard of plagues, new diseases and old that will become untreatable. The WHO will lift their hands in despair as they are overwhelmed with countless plagues, one following upon another.
Civil disorder will rear its head and ethnic violence, (imagine Rwanda,) will grip this nation, and who I pray will lift a hand to help? Except the voice of the world, after the fact, to condemn the event strongly!
By and large South Africa has a history of having many more poor than wealthy, and sooner than later the voice of the people will be heard in this nation, the inequality of balance will not prevail for an undetermined length of time and those that enrich themselves at the expense of the poor will be called to account when they rise up and single them out with one accord.
The white South Africans ought to rethink their general view of the black population, the sum of the good far outweigh the minority of criminals, and alas, this minority is an obvious stain upon all of them. However, one must, in a Christian way, treat those whom one encounters with respect and dignity, as surely the day will arise when one may need their help, and help you they will. Has it occurred to any that there are those who merely want to live without fear, with decent wages, decent food on their table, sleeping in safety at night and educating their children? The majority of South African’s have lived in fear and terror of the night for decades as the criminal element held them captive, ransacking homes, murder, rape and indiscriminate hate crimes perpetrated at will.
The greatest secret war raging in South Africa at this time is the death of countless aids/hiv patients who have ARV’s withheld and a singular uncaring attitude towards them. Due to the complexity and nature of this illness, they do recognize it, but the actual person with hiv/aids will call it by any other name than what it actually is. The trend is to ostracize family members and friends who have this affliction and sadly these people suffer in silence and try as best they may to hide their illness.
South Africa, wake up! The enemy is at your door! Here is a brief window of opportunity opened to turn to God and cry grace and mercy! and the forgiveness of the sins of your fathers and forefathers. Turn to Him and keep on turning until every hindrance is removed, until the broken fellowship is restored. Choose this day to live and not to die, choose the unmerited favor that God so freely bestows on all those that call upon Him in sincerity and truth. – Sylvia Harris-Compton
The man of color chosen as President, Barak Hussein Obama, will be a ‘Successful Failure’ due to the fact that as Pharaoh was merely a chosen instrument, so he too, is a chosen instrument, chosen to show forth God’s power and might to his own destruction, as Pharaoh in ancient times experienced.
The world waited with bated breath for Barak Hussein Obama to take the centre stage and prove his mettle, that he did, and more, as the self adoration reflected in his eyes became more and more evident with each passing day and one can almost see him applaud himself in his own mind!
“When I am President!” Emboldened by his own self-importance, with immediate effect, he set about wooing and courting the nations of the world in an attempt to curry favor with Moslem, Christian, Jew and Atheist alike.
In my humble opinion, though the entire world be deceived by this imposter, there yet remains one nation that he is unable to persuade, the Nation of Israel! This Nation has the God-given ability and sense to determine who their friends will be, and for all intents and purposes they knew from the beginning that this would be no friend of theirs.
Tracking the Future of Nations will give a definite indication of that which is to befall the various nations of the world as shown to me, and with the preliminaries over, let me begin with specific events which will follow in the course of time, some sooner than others.
Earthquakes: There will be three major earthquakes in America, one greater than the other two. One is imminent, without much warning or enough time to escape, and the greatest that this present world has seen.
Mass murders, family suicides, and suicides will become the norm of the day, foreigners will be targeted and once again it will be black against white as the unemployment escalates. The food reserves set up by the Fed Government will swiftly diminish and eventually it will be distributed to the rich and or retained for the self-preservation of a minority.
Droughts, floods, tornados, hurricanes and natural disasters will overwhelm this nation and as they look to import food, they will find that no nation will relinquish that which they have stored up. It will become a matter of each nation for itself.
Lawlessness and iniquity will abound as this ‘nation in turmoil’ resorts to regular rioting and civil unrest. Eventually, in time to come, even the military might, and police force will be amongst those that riot as the last semblance of normality dwindles away. The rich especially will be singled out for destruction and the beggar from the dunghill will be the one that judges. A definite shift of power will come into play. Clearly those that showed no mercy must not expect to receive mercy in this situation.
This may appear to be an impossibility to some, yet there is a God in Heaven that reveals secrets, and sooner than later He confirms the word of His servants and performs the counsel of His messengers.
God warns before He judges, and there is a window period to search for Him whilst He is to be found. Perhaps this is the time for America to fall down upon her knees and recognize that God repays in exact proportion to each man according to his actions, and that it is not the terrorist activities that should be feared as much as the divine judgment of God.

Tracking the Future of the Nations: The Voice of the People
The Stage of the World is Set: Enter the Abomination of Desolations
This wonderful world that we inhabit will never be the same and clearly this is the beginning of the ‘intolerable anguish’ of which we have been warned in Matthew 24 (Amplified Bible); the evidence thereof clearly visible as the earth groans and mourns under the weight of the abominations inflicted upon it.
God warns before He Punishes: Be warned and be aware that there is no doubt whatsoever that the future events recorded here will be accomplished in rapid succession: one calamity followed closely by another calamity, one woe followed closely by a far worse woe! When the inhabitants of the world think that nothing worse can happen, lo and behold, a far more destructive event will sweep across the nations of the world leaving devastation in its wake.
For a brief moment there will be silence, yes, the world will be silenced as people are bereft of speech; there is a sorrow that gives utterance, and a sorrow that stuns: the world as it is will momentarily be stunned, with eyes staring in disbelief and shock!
Then, and then only will the voice of the people be lifted in wailing and unutterable moaning: some cursing God Almighty on High, and some that shall cry unto the Lord on High for mercy and grace.
In that day the Voice of the People will prevail, no nation will be exempt from the sweeping plagues, the incurable diseases, new and unheard of plagues, taking the world by storm.
Rioting and destruction of infrastructures will become rife, escalating unprovoked violence will leave the nations trembling in fear, ethnic violence will become the norm in every nation of the world, the groan of civil unrest will echo in the four corners of the world; water resources will be diminished, earthquakes, floods, more destructive tornado’s, indiscriminate murders, suicides, entire family suicides, unspeakable sexual perversions inflicted upon mankind, mental diseases and insanity rendering many incoherent and wondering about aimlessly in the streets and byways of the world; Lawlessness and iniquity will abound more and more.
Nations will force out all the aliens in acts of self-preservation and all foreigners will be hunted down like animals and driven out with ruthless single-mindedness.
By far the worst of these desolations will be the shortage of water and food, setting the stage for cannibalism.
The governments and leaders of the world will be rendered powerless to prevent or stay the ultimate rage of the people; yes, the people of the world are angry, and that anger is visibly escalating to violent rage even now, as I write!
Yes, they will be incapable of halting the rage of the people, short of committing mass murder the wave upon wave of enraged masses will flood the capitals of the world; in short, they simply will not have the man power or the arsenal to make any significant impact to defer or halt an onslaught by the masses.
Woe unto the unrighteous Governments, Presidents, Kings, Queens, Rulers of the nations, the Bankers, the rich and powerful, when the anger of the people is unleashed upon them! They will be singled out individually, none shall escape, there shall be no place left to hide, as those that gave no mercy will receive no mercy from the masses.
“Cash is King” will no longer apply, as the gold, silver and treasures will be cast into the streets; of what use will it be to the hungry man? People cannot eat money, gold, silver, cars and property, no, no, no, who can reason with the mind of starving masses? Surely the displeasure of the people will reverberate throughout the nations of the world, escalating into unstoppable chaos and mayhem and revolution worldwide.
For a brief moment, imagine, if you will, a repetition of the French and Russian revolution, and magnify that a million times and you will see an unparalleled world scale of violence. Words beggar a description of the unspeakable horror that will confront the world as she reels and staggers under the weight of the abominations committed.
Alas, who can live? Who can survive? Who can be saved? Who can avert the inevitable? Who can intervene?
There is one! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah! He will save the remnant that seek shelter under the shadow of the Almighty, who take refuge under the wings of the Holy One!
Yet there are those that flatter themselves that they be secure and depend upon the unlimited protection of election, they presume upon this even as they recklessly indulge in evil and think themselves exempt from punishment. Is it written, ‘Once saved, always saved?’ no, I have not read of this in Holy writ! If we, as a nation, as an individual, keep the commandments of the Lord, He will keep His promises, if not, there is no promise for Him to keep, we break the promises, not God! – Sylvia Harris-Compton
